Smart design: lightweight & hidden brake cables

A common complaint for rollators is that the brake cables get caught while walking. This was kept in mind when designing this rollator, the brake cables are neatly integrated into the frame, preventing this problem. In addition, the frame is made of high-quality aluminum, resulting in a weight of only 6,6 kg. This combination of features is unique on the market.

Very compact: double-folding

What makes this rollator special is that it is double-foldable. With just two simple steps, you can fold this rollator in only a few seconds. When folded, it fits into almost any trunk, making transportation effortless. Thanks to the so-called semi-soft tires no inflation is required, while they still provide excellent shock absorption. In short, an ideal rollator for everyday use.

If you are looking for a more luxurious double-folding rollator, you will find that the Luxo is an excellent fit. Equipped with better handles, padded backrest, soft seat and large front wheels in combination with entirely soft tires, this rollator will satisfy all your luxury needs.

Safety first

Safety is always the highest priority at Parvum, and this also applies to the Riva. The rollator is equipped with dual-function brake levers: you can squeeze them to slow down while walking, and push them down to activate the parking position when you want to sit down. The rollator also features curb assists that allow you to easily take bumps, such as curbs. Reflectors ensure you are clearly visible even in dusk and darkness.

Recommended user height

This rollator has a recommended user height of approximately 155 to 180 cm. The handles are incrementally adjustable from 77 to 89 cm. The seat height is 55 cm.

Delivery & assembly

All Parvum rollators are delivered complete as standard. You will receive accessories such as a cane holder and a backrest. The Riva also features a comfortable seat and a practical shopping bag. The rollator is ready to use, no assembly required.

Will the Riva fit my height?

The Riva suits users who are 155–180 cm tall. Its grips adjust to a height of 77–89 cm. To check, stand upright with your arms relaxed and measure from the floor to your wrist: the grips should sit at that height.

How much does the Riva weigh?

The Riva weighs 6,6 kg on its own. With the backrest and bag fitted, it weighs 6,9 kg. Take off the bag and backrest when you lift it into the car, and you lift the lighter figure.

How much weight can the Riva carry?

The Riva is made for users of up to 120 kg. The shopping bag holds up to 5 kg.

Is a rollator this light still stable?

Light does not mean wobbly. It is one of the things our customers mention most: they expected a light rollator to feel flimsy, and were surprised by how steady the Riva is. It is made for users of up to 120 kg.

Which tires does the Riva have, and where do they work best?

The Riva has semi tires, our budget choice. They roll well on smooth pavement and brick paving, and they are fine on wet or sloping ground. On cobblestones, gravel and grass they are only okay: you feel more of the bumps, and pushing takes more effort. That makes them a good fit if you mostly walk on pavements and indoors. If you often go off the paved path, soft or air tires are more comfortable.

How does the Riva fold?

Pull the handle on the seat and the Riva folds in half. Then fold it once more: there are no latches or screws to undo, so this goes almost by itself. Folded twice it measures 83 × 24 × 33,5 cm, compact enough for the boot of almost every car.

Will it fit through my doors?

Unfolded, the Riva is 65 cm wide. A standard interior door is about 80 cm wide, so it goes through with room to spare. Older doors and toilet doors can be narrower, so to be sure, measure your narrowest doorway between the edges of the frame.

Is the Riva hard to put together?

No. The Riva comes out of the box ready to use. All you do is put on the bag and backrest, and that takes only a moment. So within a few minutes of unpacking, you are out walking.

What comes in the box with the Riva?

The Riva comes complete. In the box you find backrest, shopping bag, cane holder and user manual.

Which accessories fit the Riva?

These accessories are made to fit the Riva: Transport Bag, Premium Bag, Tray and Walking Cane Fold. You find them under “Make your Riva complete”, just above the Add to cart button. Tick them and they are added to your order.

Rollators always ship free; other orders ship free from €75. As soon as it is on its way, you get a track & trace code by email, so you can follow it all the way to your door.

What if it arrives damaged?

Send us a photo and we’ll sort it out, whether something is damaged or missing.

Can I return it?

Yes. Let us know within 14 days, then you have another 14 days to send it back. Return shipping is at your own cost. Everything else is in our Política de reembolso.
